Judy Carroll
Founder & President
In 2003, Judy Carroll received a breast cancer diagnosis that would change the trajectory of her life. As an occupational therapist, she understood the healthcare system — but nothing prepared her for the financial and emotional toll that treatment would bring.
“I saw firsthand the gap between medical care and the day-to-day support survivors actually need. I knew I had to help fill it.”
After two decades of recovery, advocacy, and serving her community through occupational therapy, Judy founded Space Coast Survivors Inc. in September 2024. Her vision: a grassroots organization that provides real, tangible support — financial relief, emotional encouragement, and genuine community connection — to breast cancer survivors right here in Brevard County.
What started as one woman's personal mission has grown into a movement powered by volunteers, partners, and a community that believes no survivor should walk this journey alone.
